Contract 78 BEMS Systems, Repairs, Servicing and Minor Installations 2021-2024

The contract covers repairs, maintenance, servicing and minor installations of BEMS Systems within Authority buildings within the borough of North Tyneside. The Contractor shall carry out planned preventive maintenance at the locations in accordance with the Programme of Work at the frequencies detailed in the tender pack. Successfully awarded Contractors will be required to work together with North Tyneside Council (the Authority) to drive improvements and support the aims and ambitions of the Contract.

Following this tender exercise, it is envisaged that 3 Contractors will be appointed to the Framework. The awarded position on the Frameworks, known as the rank order, will form the basis of a non-binding call off agreement, whereby all works up to the indicated threshold of £10 Thousand will also be offered to the first ranked Contractor as a Direct Award. A Contractor declining the offered work will then trigger the works to be offered to the Contractor next in rank order as a Direct Award. Any works exceeding £10 Thousand will be deemed as a new installation and will be subject to mini competition with the 3 suppliers on the framework.
