HSCIC - Invitation to Market Engagement - Independent Standards Assurance Service Management

HSCIC is engaging with the market to explore suppliers with the ability to source Independent Appraisers who are highly competent individuals who are capable of taking ownership of complicated problems and issues and that they can quickly establish credibility with senior colleagues in the profession and within HSCIC and the wider NHS and Social Care.

Independent Standards Assurance Service (ISAS) is the HSCIC independent appraisal function for all Information Standards Collections and Extractions (ISCE), separate from the development process and procedures. ISAS are responsible for critically assuring the stages of ISCE development and compiling recommendation reports for consideration by the Standardisation Committee for Care Information (SCCI). The scope of ISAS extends to programmes of work internal and external to the HSCIC that are developing national ISCE.
