Clinical Key/Expert Path Licenses - Health Education England

Health Education England are putting out this notice as a PIN (Prior Information Notice) with a view to completing a Direct Award to Elsevier .

The case for direct award can be found on the tender portal.

HEE believes that it is highly unlikely for any other supplier to be able to provide the following skills/tools provided by Elsevier as a current supplier for the following reasons:

1. 2. Elsevier has access to expertise in advancing education and research in Pathology and is responsible for setting standards of training and administering examinations in Emergency Medicine in England.

3. Elsevier's operations are organized into two divisions: Science & Technology and Health Sciences. Elsevier's products and services include electronic and print versions of journals, monographs, textbooks, and reference work and cover the health, life, physical and social sciences.

4. Elsevier Partners: with a global scholarly community of 7,000 journal editors, 70,000 editorial board members, 200,000 reviewers, and 500,000 authors publishing 2,000 journals, 17,000 books; with 1,900 new books each year.

5. Elsevier's range of science publications cover areas including:
