This Invitation to Tender (ITT) is published on behalf of South West London and St Georges Mental Health NHS Trust (SWLStGs ) and South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM) ('the Trusts') and defines the procurement process (the Procurement) being executed for provision of Occupational Health Services (OHS or the Service). South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust is acting as the Lead Contracting Authority. The Trusts invite suitably qualified and experienced provider(s) to bid for the provision of Occupational Health Services.
South West London and St Georges Mental Health NHS Trust serves a local population of about one million people across five boroughs, namely Kingston, Merton, Richmond, Sutton and Wandsworth, and provides more specialist services to people throughout the United Kingdom. The Trusts offers in-patient, community and day services, and a number of 24 hour services. The Trust is currently progressing with its application to become a foundation trust.
South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust provides NHS care and treatment for people with mental health problems. We also provide services for people who are addicted to drugs or alcohol. As well as serving the communities of South London, we provide specialist services for people from across the UK and beyond.
The Trusts have a requirement for the provision of a comprehensive range of occupational health services ("OHS") so that the Trusts are able to meet their common law and statutory duties of care for the health, safety and welfare of its employees in their working environment.
The Contract is set to Commence on 1st April 2017 for 2 years with an option to extend for up to 3 years. At the end of the 2 year initial period the Trust may review for inclusion of a third NHS Organisation (Oxleas NHS FT).
