Instead of: Description of procurement: The RAF is seeking a 1 year contract with a 1 year Option for the provision of European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) approved Part 66 Civilian Licence training for both B1 and B2 engineers, including undertaking of examination, and Ab Initio training for RAF Engineers prior to undertaking Type Certification for Shadow R1, a King Air airframe. The contract is to commence on 1st September 2016. Suppliers must have an EASA Part 147 approved civilian licence and deliver a classroom-based course that is Civil Aviation Authority authorised, through a qualified lecturer. References required for this particular training are as follows:

  • EASA Aircraft Type Ratings for Part-66 aircraft maintenance licence (Part 66)
  • EASA Maintenance Training Organisation: Part 147 Approvals (MTOA) (Part 147)
  • EASA Part-145 Maintenance Organisation Approvals (MOA) (Part 145)

The courses are to run for 10 to 12 months (or academic year) and cater for up to 10 students.
