CPI Tender 536 New Build Design Services for a Centre of Innovative Formulations at NETPark, Sedgefi

CPI require a fully coordinated design team to develop a design from

1. RIBA stage 3 (see Appendices 6-11 for details and drawings to date) to a completed design for Tender and Contractor build (RIBA stage 4 to include a fully costed plan\programme\BREEAM Excellent compliance and fully detailed Bill of Materials. The design is to include for all planning conditions and final information to CPI shall be issued in 2 sets hard copy on paper size as indicated on drawings etc. and an electronic copy in pdf and open format Revit\dwg\word etc.

The design team members are to review and satisfy itself of the adequacy and fitness for purpose of the design produced to date before developing it further.

2. A separate fixed cost with estimated hours per service are to be provided for works associated with the scope defined in RIBA Stage 5, 6 and 7

CPI requires an Architect to provide architectural and engineering \BREEAM \Ecology \Structural\Civil\completion of Planning conditions to encompass a full design services for the provision of all required documentation to prepare and submit a full tender design for a single stage building contract award. The scope of the engineering design and other services will include: civil and structural design, mechanical and electrical design, acoustician/vibration, fire engineer, landscape architect, ecologist\BREEAM\process systems. It is required that the Architect will coordinate the preparation of the architectural, engineering and any other information required to enable submission of the full design tender The RIBA Stage 4 design work shall be undertaken during November\December 2015 with an anticipated contractual end date of end January 2016 to publish a full tender package for the build of the site to commence in April 2016. Your project programme should demonstrate the competency and resource plan to achieve this timetable. It is essential that the tight timescales for the submission of the tender pack can be maintained so as to allow time for approval prior to work beginning on site around April 2016.

The Contract will be placed on a fixed rates basis for the services as detailed - The design team are to allow for all resources required to achieve the programme issued and a resource plan is to be issued for all team members to show makeup, number and activities of the individuals involved
