KMCBS-036 The Provision of a Gutter Cleaning Service - Kirklees Public Buildings

Quotations are invited by The Council of the Borough of Kirklees from Contractors with relevant experience and ability to demonstrate sufficient capacity for The Provision of a Gutter Cleaning Service to a number of Buildings in the Kirklees Area. The buildings have been grouped into three specific geographical areas within Kirklees as follows: Lot 1 Huddersfield Area Lot 2 Colne and Holme Valley Lot 3 Dewsbury and Surrounding Areas Applicants may apply for one or more Lot. Each Lot shall be awarded to a single Service Provider following the completion of the evaluation process. Premises included in the above Lots will include (but not necessarily be limited to) office or retail accommodation, libraries, museums, market halls, and Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing premises. The contractor is required to provide a periodic and professional gutter cleaning service for each property within each Lot tendered for. It is the contractor's responsibility to clean and clear all gutters, valleys and downpipes to ensure an unobstructed flowing of water. All debris removed from the gutters must be removed from site by the contractor. The gutters will have limited, restricted or high level access. Great care must be taken when working around or above public access areas and providers should consider the most appropriate days and times (i.e. weekends and out of hours) when work may need to be carried to minimise the risks associated with the work.
