description
The Council requires a supplier for the provision of Route Smart Vehicle routing solution that integrates with ESRI ArcGIS Desktop to allow the route optimisation of operations such as waste collection.
An ArcGIS compatible high-density route optimisation software package is used for the strategic planning and operational routing of waste & recycling collection routes. The software solution is capable of providing balanced and geographically compact routes which maximise stops and lifts per hour, reduce route planning time and improve safety compliance. The solution is also capable of optimising routes for street cleansing activities (mechanical and manual), gully cleansing, grounds maintenance and a whole host of other local authority services which require the optimisation and sequencing of multiple stops.
