description
The contract is to provide a maintenance service on the plant and equipment
within designated buildings around the force. The contract will provide for planned preventative maintenance, reactive (repair) maintenance and improvement/alteration activities. Smaller reactive and improvement work will be handled through a call-off provision.
The contractor shall carry out and provide maintenance and testing of the plant and equipment and respond to any call-out all as detailed within the specification.

Note: The above list covers the main plant items and systems. The contract is inclusive of all items relating to the air conditioning and ventilation systems throughout the West Midlands Police estate.
The contractor shall also be:
| • | Gas Safe registered for maintenance of the direct gas fired air handling units. |
| • | Hold full company certification for F-Gas, by a DEFRA approved certification body, in accordance with European regulation 303/2008. |
| • | Health and Safety Scheme (CHAS) registered. |
