description

Leicester City Council currently is in contract with a service provider for the bulk document mailing services (printing, enclosing and mailing) generated by the Revenues & Customer Support Service, Housing and Business Services Centre only, that expires in July 2020.

Leicester City Council does not any have provision for ad hoc and non-bulk letters for all services to use a hybrid mail solution and these still follow the old traditional manual methods that denotes significant staff resource.

In advance of the current contract ending in 2020, a new contract is sought by the Council for all Hybrid Mail requirements for a provider(s) who can fully meet the operational requirements for both bulk and ad hoc documents.

Any provider(s) will be expected to provide a service for ALL generated documentation either as bulk or ad hoc, as per the defined Lot 1 and/or Lot 2, that is created by Leicester City Council to bring efficiencies not only of practice, process and security but also to provide best value for the organisation.
