A service provider is sought to host and schedule a faculty resource of general practice improvement specialists to support the work of NHS England's Sustainable Improvement (SI)
team.
This faculty of quality improvement specialists provides the majority of the team's delivery capacity at a local level, as part of a three-year 'Time for Care' commission emanating from the General Practice Forward View through until March 2019. As part of that commission the faculty itself will expand during this period providing a flexible pool of delivery capacity which can be accessed by NHS England's SI team in a timely manner.
Additional information: The purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to:
- Give advance notice that NHS England', intends to undertake a tendering exercise to set up an agreement for the hosting of an improvement faculty;
- To request information from the marketplace relating to the services;
- To allow potential tenderers to register for the upcoming supplier event.
In order to provide more information about the requirements of this contract and the forthcoming tender process, NHS England will be holding a market engagement event at a venue in Leeds, at 1430 hrs on 17th October 2017 which you are invited to attend. Please indicate your interest in attending by emailing angela.johnson30@nhs.net providing the name of your organisation, the names and the job titles of those people you intend to bring with you (maximum of 2 per organisation). Please note we will send out joining instructions prior to the event; your EoI will provide an indication of expected numbers.
