HCC - 05/19 - The Construction of a 77 Bed/Care/Nursing Home and Associated Works at the former Wormley School, St Laurence Drive, Wormley, Hertfordshire

This tender opportunity is for the construction of a 77 bed care/nursing home and associated works to BREEAM Excellent standard and to BIM Level 2 under a JCT Design and Build 2016 as amended Contract. The home will be dementia friendly throughout. Demonstration of previous experience in collaborating with a care provider to deliver specialist care home is essential. Site access, logistics and neighbour relations are all relevant factors, with the S278 Works being necessary to undertake before starting the main construction works. It is expected that the Contract duration will be in the region of 72 - 80 weeks and it is expected that for a great deal of this time the adjacent housing site will also be under construction, so collaboration between contractors will be essential.

This procurement process is a two stage process and you will only be invited to tender if you have been successful at the Selection Questionnaire (SQ) stage. If you wish to be considered you must complete and submit a completed SQ by the Closing date and time Submissions cannot be uploaded after the closing date/time.
