description

Tenders are invited for the erection of a single storey, flat roofed extension to the waiting room which serves the Woodlands Crematorium. The extension will be brick and block cavity construction with solid concrete suspended floor, on r.c ground beams and CFA piles. The Crematorium was built on poor ground, using piled foundations, in the 1960s, with a brown brick and copper roof. The entrance and smoking areas are to be covered with a timber structure and GRP roofing. There are new Tarmacadam and paved footpaths to be formed.
