The Innovation and Research InSight Unit (IRIS), a strategic-level science and technology assessment function in the Ministry of Defence, intends to contract for a service or services to improve its understanding of, and ability to report on global science and technology developments. This will support IRIS in its provision of strategic advice to Defence on new S&T developments, and how to respond to them.
