The National Army Museum (NAM) is looking to appoint a creative consultant who can use their flair and expertise to support a dynamic and innovative approach to NAM’s future positioning and communication, and to ensure NAM is able to eloquently articulate the transformational change which the organisation is undergoing. The new identity is scheduled to launch in 2016.

The work has been broken into three lots, respondents are invited to apply for one or all of these lots. The appointed consultant(s) will be expected to deliver on time, and within the stated budgets, a fully realised visual communications strategy and solutions that will wholly meet the Museum's aims as set out in the National Army Museum Brand Development Brief and any subsequently brief.

All design work and specifications must comply with any wider relevant statutory and non-statutory requirements e.g. Equality Act legislation, best practice procedures.

Expressions of Interest are requested from suitably qualified and experienced contractors by 28 September 2015. Further to short listing, the full tender brief will be made available.

There are three lots of work available:

  1. Identity refinement
  • To review the current assets and provide design support in the refinement of these to meet the broad organisational needs.
  1. Internal activation
  • To develop and deliver a strategy for the launch of the identity internally including the delivery of stakeholder training and engagement.
  1. External activation
  • To develop an approach to the external activation of the identity including the development of templates and supportive resources.
