MVDC AW East Surrey Outreach Service for Homeless Persons - AWARD

Mole Valley District Council (MVDC) is looking for a supplier to deliver the East Surrey Outreach Service (eSOS) throughout the geographical areas of Mole Valley District Council, Reigate & Banstead Borough, Epsom & Ewell Borough Council and Tandridge District Council. The purpose of the service is to enable rough sleepers, sofa surfers and homeless vulnerable and socially excluded people including those with mental health problems and complex needs to:

• oaccess accommodation with or without support;
• oprevent and/or relieve homelessness; and
• oprevent, reduce and delay health and care needs and costs.

The service will also offer:

• oassertive outreach for vulnerable people sofa surfing, rough sleeping, or at risk of rough sleeping;
• osupport to people placed in assessment beds provided by Leatherhead Start (http://leatherheadstart.org/);
• ointerventions to prevent former rough sleepers and sofa surfers who have secured accommodation from being evicted;
• oresettlement support to former rough sleepers and sofa surfers who have secured accommodation;
