Wiltshire Council is seeking to commission new Healthwatch and Service User Engagement contracts.
Healthwatch:
Healthwatch Wiltshire is the independent consumer champion for health and social care in the county, it
| • | Represents the collective voice of patients, service users, carers and the public to commissioners, service providers and local politicians |
| • | Acts as focal point for the local community to have a voice in commissioning and provision of health and social care. |
| • | Provides opportunities for local people to influence decisions being made about their services, across the NHS and Social Care. |
Service User Engagement
Provides Wiltshire Council and Wiltshire Clinical Commissioning Groups customers with a variety of opportunities to have input into adult care work for example, by consulting on specific adult care commissioning work
The Council is looking to award contracts for a 3 year period (with a possible extension of a further two years). This tender will follow the light touch procedure (PCR 2015 Regulation 75).
