description
Medway Council is seeking to award an income generating contract to a suitably experienced and competent supplier for the operation of an advertising concession. The successful bidder shall also provide a cleaning and maintenance service at zero cost to Medway Council for all 348 bus shelters in the Medway region and any new shelters subsequently added to the Medway network.
A portion of the revenue generated shall be paid to Medway Council and will be detailed by the bidder in their subsequent tender response documents. This is to be determined by the bidder and would be in the form of a guaranteed annual income. Additional shelters may be added to the estate over time.
Medway Council will appoint one Contractor for the services with an initial Contract Term of 5 years, with two possible extensions, both for a further 5 years each. The anticipated contract start date is 1 April 2019.
