GB-Sea: Design and Installation of Solar PV to 8 Sites within the Borough of Southend on Sea

Invitation to Tender for Project no. 1406 Design and Installation of Solar PV to 8 Sites within the Borough of Southend on Sea

Southend-on-Sea Borough Council wishes to invite expressions of interest from suitably qualified Solar PV installers to tender for 11 multiple array installations to 8 sites within the Borough totalling 1.3Mw.

The works will be carried out in two phases:

Phase 1: Installations on all 8 sites up to and including 50kWp must be complete and registered for Fits on or before 23rd December 2015. Prepare and submit advanced ROOFIT registrations for the installations greater than 50kW.

Phase 2:All installations greater than 50kWp must be complete and registered for ROOFIT on or before 30th June 2016.

The contract with be awarded on 70% Price 30% Quality.

The tenders will be evaluated on the overall price and 20 year ROI (return on investment).

It is intended that the works will be let under the JCT Design and Build Contract 2011.
