This invitation is for the appointment of a Project Manager/s who will also undertake roles of Contract Administrator and Employers Agent for the project from RIBA Stage 5 (Construction) to the end of RIBA Stage 6 (Handover & Close Out) for the PCSA, the Early Works and the Main Works.
Responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of a Project Execution Plan
- Negotiations with Contractor for Main Works Price
- Management of incumbent multi-disciplinary design team
- Reviewing all project programmes
- Management and review of required applications for all statutory permissions/ conditions with relevant stakeholders which may include the Local Authority, Planning, Heritage England and Building Control
- Understanding of the City of London's structure and approvals processes
- Administering and maintaining a robust change control procedure
- Issuing instructions to the Contractor
- Maintaining a document management system
- Chairing monthly progress meetings and fortnightly site walks
- Preparing and issuing monthly construction progress reports

- Coordinating and instructing the Clerk of Works
- Agreeing commissioning and testing procedures
- Agreeing a defect reporting procedure and managing the schedules
- Determining practical completion and issuing the relevant certification
- Issuing all relevant project certification throughout the works
