ESCC SS - Provision of Supported Accommodation Based Services for Young Mothers in Eastbourne and Lewes

East Sussex County Council Adult Social Care and Health Division intend to commission a service provider to provide Supported Accommodation Based Services for Young Mothers in Eastbourne and Lewes as part of the Supported People Programme.

The Supporting People Programme aims to increase the opportunities and improve the life chances of people with vulnerabilities in East Sussex. The SP Programme offers accessible, high quality and affordable housing support services that promote independence, prevent crisis and complement existing and new housing, health, social care and children's services.

The key strategic aims of the East Sussex SP Programme are:

• oTo pursue a strong focus on preventative services,
• oTo ensure that the outcomes of services maximise the independence of service users,
• oTo promote equalities and the social inclusion of vulnerable people,
• oTo promote community safety,
• oTo enable resettlement i.e. the move to and maintenance of permanent accommodation.

The contract annual value is ?92,500
