description

The Trust wants to consider and agree the approach, activity and focus needed in the year ahead, and beyond, to help the Trust achieve their visions to improve the quality of life for the communities we serve and mission to champion the rights of people with mental health problems and learning disabilities.

Many of the SPFT services are experiencing a marked increase in need especially in CAMHS and Neurodevelopmental services which has had an adverse impact on the length of time people wait for assessment and treatment. Workforce recruitment challenges mean that increasing capacity to respond to this need is becoming difficult.

The Trust is not seeking to revise their organisational strategy at the moment, the Trust just wants to be assured that their thinking, focus and future plans will deliver the outcomes needed to continue improving the service they provide.
