TEA Newtown Depot - Modular Units Installation

Corserv Solutions Ltd are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to provide permanent installation of 18no "SoloHaus" 1-bedroom modular construction units to provide short-medium term, 'move on' accommodation, as part of Cornwall Council's aim to provide accommodation to homeless people in Cornwall.

12no of the units will be double stacked and require staircases either side and a gantry to the front elevation for access to the units. Cormac requires the contractor to fabricate, supply and install the staircases, handrails, railings and gantry. Contractor needs to supply all lifting equipment, labour and delivery of materials.

PPE to be provided by the subcontractor. Welfare to be provided by Cormac. Cormac are looking to install the gantry in November however an exact start date to be confirmed closer to start date. Subcontractor is responsible for survey and setting out of works. Cormac will install the foundations required for the structure.

Subcontractor to provide in response to the enquiry:

• Lump Sum Price.
• Indication of start date and duration of works.
• Provide a separate cost for the option of powder coating in black.

Subcontractor to provide upon award:

• Fabrication Drawings
• RAMS prior to commencement of work on site.

The intention is to award the contract to the most economically advantageous tenderer based on 40% Quality and 60% Price.
