SaltPig Refrigeration Project

Supply and fit of 2 new coldrooms and relocation of 2 existing coldrooms (one of which will require a new chiller unit).

We are moving into a bigger premises and require extensive refigeration as follows:

Coldroom 1 : new unit 6x6x2.8m (with cutaway in one corner for stairs overhead). This will be required to hold a temperature around 9 degrees. It is a drying chamber for salami and will be fitted with dehumidification equiptment.

Coldroom 2 : move of existing unit. a 2 x 3 x 2.2m coldroom to be dismantled, moved and recommissioned at the new site.

Coldroom 3 : move of existing unit. approx 5 x 2.5 x 2.2m coldroom to be dismantled, moved and recommissioned at the new site. It will require an additional swing door and a chiller unit capable of keeping approx 1 degree c.

Hanging rail in coldroom 3. a bespoke metal frame will need to be built around coldroom 3 to support a rail the length of the fridge (5m) this rail will need to support up to 1.5ton of carcasses on a sliding system.

Coldroom 4 : a new coldroom to be tacked onto the side of coldroom 3. approx 2 x 2 x 2.2m. This will not require it's own chiller unit, just the panels (floorless)

The rooms will have to be built and commissioned in a specific order to facilitate the moving of products from the existing unit.
