Market Engagement - Thames Valley NHS 111 / Buckinghamshire Out of Hours

This notice is placed as a Prior Information Notice, and relates only to a pre-procurement market engagement event.

The NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups (“CCGs”) from East and West Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire are currently considering how best to recommission their NHS 111 services and enable their integration with Out of Hours services (OOH). Additionally the Buckinghamshire CCGs are reviewing their options for recommissioning their OOH.

The CCGs, namely Aylesbury Vale CCG; Bracknell and Ascot CCG; Chiltern CCG; Newbury & District CCG; North & West Reading CCG; Oxfordshire CCG; Slough CCG; South Reading CCG; Windsor, Ascot and Maidenhead CCG and Wokingham CCG, are holding a supplier event where potential providers of NHS 111 and Out of Hours services can learn more about these potential opportunities, plans for their integration, and engage with the commissioners.

The purpose of the event will be to:

• Raise awareness amongst the provider market of the Commissioners’ re-commissioning intentions.
• Provide further details of services that may be included and outcomes to be achieved
• Give organisations the opportunity to start building the resources and the strategic relationships required to bid successfully for the services should a procurement take place.
• Help to determine the most appropriate course of action for the Commissioners
