Northamptonshire Children's Trust - Parent Advocacy Services (Expression of Interest)

Northamptonshire Children's Trust (NCT) welcome Expressions of Interest from providers with experience in this field to provide Parent Advocacy Services for parents who reside in Northamptonshire and in other parts of the United Kingdom that are the responsibility of NCT.

The purpose of Parents Advocacy Services is to assist parents, who have a significant difficulty being involved in the process to fully engage in assessments and to understand the complex statutory processes within Children's Social Care, where there is no one appropriate or available to facilitate and represent their views. The provision aims to build the individuals knowledge and understanding of social work processes, confidence and self-esteem.

Northamptonshire Children's Trust (NCT) is an independent, not-for-profit company established in November 2020 to deliver the best possible opportunities for the children in Northamptonshire. Our responsibility is to deliver children's social care and targeted early help services on behalf of North Northamptonshire Council and West Northamptonshire Council.

As part of this Expression of Interest process, NCT are considering whether to set up a Framework of a number of suppliers who can provide this service or seek one provider who is able to source advocates. Any contract would look to be set up as soon as possible after this Expression of Interest process; 1st June 2023 is aimed for.
