This notice is for information only. The Contracting Authority may or may not subsequently publish a formal contract notice in the future.
The Contracting Authority is potentially seeking a supplier to provide an IT Service Management System capable of a range of functionality to support the service portfolio of the organisation. The system will potentially need to cater for a range of internal and external customers as well as integration with third party service providers.
It is anticipated that the range of functionality required from the IT Service Management System will include support for all ITIL based processes, including but not be limited to incident, problem, knowledge, event, security, service portfolio and change management, Live Chat, request fulfilment and CMDB.
The IT Service Management System will be maintained by the supplier, who shall also provide any implementation, configuration, maintenance and updating which may be necessary both initially and throughout the term of the contract.
The above is neither an exhaustive or final requirement. It is subject to development prior to any potential subsequent contract notice.
The Contracting Authority is holding a market engagement event which will be conducted remotely via Skype.

The purpose of market engagement event being to:

The value of £3,000,000 is an estimate only based on a potential initial contract term of three years. The Contracting Authority anticipates up to two extension periods of twelve months each.
Potential providers are advised that should the Contracting Authority subsequently publish a formal contract notice, the procurement will be managed (including the submission of tender responses) via the Contracting Authority's e-procurement portal.

MARKET ENGAGEMENT SESSION
The Contracting Authority is holding a market engagement session on Tuesday 30th April 2019 at 10:00. The session which will be conducted remotely via Skype.
The purpose of market engagement session being to:

| - | give an overview of the procurement process should the contracting authority subsequently publish a formal contract notice |

The Contracting Authority may, without prejudice, use feedback from the session to help inform the development of the potential requirement.
