The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) is commissioning Scanning Electron Microscopy with X-ray Dispersive Spectroscopy (SEM-EDX) analysis of Caesium (Cs) particles. Defra will provide the successful Tenderer with 30 SEM specimen stubs with Cs particles present on them. SEM-EDX measurements will be performed on all 30 samples to enable subsequent Defra evaluation of Cs particle size distribution, morphology, and chemical composition. Further information on Defra's requirements is provided in the Invitation for Quotation document.

Additional information: To apply please respond to the attached Invitation to Quote and associated documents. Tenderers are required to provide: 1) The total fixed cost for completion of the project; 2) A proposed methodology to meet the project deliverables (maximum of 2 sides of A4); and 3) A proposed project timetable in the form of a Gantt chart (or similar).
