South Cambridgeshire District Council - FM Contracted Hard Services

SCDC is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced company who can provide FM Contracted Hard Services to the Council or SCDC's Cambourne and Waterbeach Offices.

The scope of the contract is to undertake planned and emergency works to a diverse range of equipment within the Cambourne and Waterbeach buildings. This will require sufficiently qualified and experience in electrical, mechanical, air conditioning, electronics, plumbing and gas safety.

The contract will involve working at heights, it may mean lone working , working in confined spaces, it will involve electricity and gas.

It is therefore important that the successful company will need to be compliant with appropriate regulations to ensure the safety of their employee/sub contractor.

The successful contractor will offer a client access a web based helpdesk system to be able to track calls and understand that the service schedules have been undertaken and documentary evidence of attendance and job completion.

SCDC requires that the successful contractor will produce a 52 week plan to incorporate all of the servicing and support schedules to undertake the maintenance.

The services will be provided on an annual fixed cost for the servicing with additional works (outside the service schedule) charged for at an agreed hourly rate plus costs for materials.
