description

This tender is related to the Advanced Materials Characterisation and Simulation Hub (AMCASH) project, which is receiving part funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The project will promote business investment in R&D and innovation by significantly enhancing knowledge transfer between the University and local SMEs through in-depth technical assistance and collaborative research, and increasing the private investment in R&D and innovation in high value sectors by offering bespoke technological and scientific support.

The project will utilise an existing suite of advanced characterisation facilities (worth about ?3M) which will be dedicated to this project, with the new FEG/SEM and Digital Optical Microscope adding value and complementing these resources.
