EXTERNAL DECORATIONS & ASSOCIATED REPAIRS

A Suitable Contractor is required for the provision of a programme of external repairs and decoration/re-decoration of external surfaces and internal common parts for the Councils properties. The works are to be carried out as specified in the accompanying technical specifications.

The works may involve extensive preparations and general building repairs prior to re-decorating. The estimated proportion of the budget to be spent against each property for pre-decoration repairs and decorations works is:

The works shall be undertaken over a 5 year term with the project estimated to start Summer 2020 and must be completed by no later than 31st April 2025. The budget for each financial year is to be utilised fully within that particular financial year.

NB: The first year of the programme is expected to run from August 2020 and complete by 31st March 2020. All subsequent programmes will have the full financial year, 1st April to 31st March for programme delivery.
