Structural Works at Chesham House

The Council c/o David Smith Associates are looking to carry out a procurement process for the rebuilding of a stone gable wall to a property owned by Kettering Borough Council.

The nature of the works will comprise of:

• I.Provide scaffolding to enable works.

• II.Provide all supports to enable hand removal / demolition of the exiting stone gable wall, setting aside stone for reuse.

• III.Rebuilding using the set aside stone, allowing for new stone as deemed necessary to match existing colour / dimensions as possible.

• IV.Supplying and installing all structural steel works and tie bars as per structural engineers design detail.

• V.Internal works; making good plaster finishes, hacking back plaster affixing mesh and re-plastering where required.

• VI.Decorating works; apply paint to all affected works.
