The scheme comprises of the removal of timber glazed balustrades in poor condition to existing balconies and replacement with new galvanised steel balustrades.
Target completion date May 2022
BCP Council wish to appoint one organisation from the Westworks Building Maintenance and Compliance DPS to replace the existing balcony balustrading with galvanized balustrading to comply with current Building Regulations (Part K).
- oRemoval of existing balcony balustrading.
- oInstallation of new balcony balustrading.
- oRemoval of infill structures
Please note that the properties will remain tenanted throughout the works. The contractor is to ensure they account for the properties being tenanted throughout the duration of the works.
