The Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office ("FCDO") intend to engage the market in relation to this project as part of market engagement activity in accordance with Regulation 40 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The purpose of this PIN is to initiate market engagement and is not being used as a call for competition. This PIN is intended to:
- Engage with and inform the market of the FCDO's requirements, enabling potential contractors to better understand the scope of the requirement and the approach to the procurement process; and
- To call for suppliers to register their interest by e-mail regarding an online event.
Background
The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) is seeking expressions of interest from potential suppliers for several projects FCDO are seeking to take forward at the British Embassy Baghdad (BEB) in Iraq and are currently exploring how to best deliver these important projects.
We would like to understand which suppliers are interested in tendering for these projects. Further details are provided (attached document) on each project to help you better understand the background, project status and planned work.
Additional information:
No formal assessment of capability or down selection of bidders will be carried out in relation to any responses received as a result of this. Any future correspondence will be undertaken on the Jaggaer Portal and therefor any suppliers, not currently registered on the portal, who are interested in being considered for the opportunity must self-register on the site in order to participate in the SQ process when published - registration is free and instantaneous.
