The Multifunctional Materials Manufacturing Lab in the Wolfson School is seeking the commissioning of a bench top laboratory extruder that allows the mixing and extrusion of materials suitable for a foaming stage that can be further treated in the discharge chamber.

We are seeking a small device capable of mixing polymeric foams that can be extruded in a foam format. The base of our work resides on the manipulation of polymer properties after it has been discharged, therefore, this extruder should be as self-contained, automated and trouble-shooted as possible.

Experimental work is planned to commence no later than 1st July 2016, therefore a prompt response from the potential suppliers is much appreciated since this piece of equipment plays an important aiding role in this workpackage.

We welcome quotes in which the core equipment is described and the optional ancillaries and accessories are listed in an itemised form (with their corresponding price) separately.
