Prior Information Notice (PIN) for the provision of a Framework of Providers to deliver Community Eating Disorder Service Training – Health Education England

NHS South of England Procurement Services, acting on behalf of Health Education England (the Commissioner) will be commencing a tender for the provision of a Framework of Providers to deliver Community Eating Disorder Service Training across England. This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to advise prospective providers of the Commissioners intention.

The Anna Freud Centre will be acting as project manager to ensure that whole team training is provided to the 61 Community Eating Disorders Teams throughout England. Training will be in accordance with the “Access and Waiting Time Standard for Children and Young People with an Eating Disorder: Commissioning Guide” (July 2015), and “Community Eating Disorder Whole Team Training Specification: NHS England” (in preparation. The training will be expected to be delivered according to CYP IAPT principles in Children and Young People’s Mental Health services, values and standards - “Delivering With and Delivering Well”. The length of the contract will be for the period of time necessary to complete the number of training courses required.

The ITT is expected to be published in June 2016.

The commissioner reserves the right not to proceed with the Procurement, or any part thereof, or change the requirements as necessary at any time.

It is the intention of the commissioner that the procurement will be conducted as on OJEU Service Contract using an Open Procedure under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
