description

Docker is currently used on the DVLA estate to package applications and the interactive command line tool is used by developers. DockerEE is the natural extension to this and gives a number of advantages:

Built-in container orchestration - the latest release supports Kubernetes and is the favoured option for developing to Azure.

Secure by default - DockerEE is secure out of the box with no addition setup required. Image signing and security scanning is already being used on trial licences.

Docker Trusted Registry - DVLA have adopted the Docker standard to create images that run on Kubernetes. DTR is a place to securely store these image while also remaining cloud agonistic.
