Structural and Civil Engineering consultants for the development of Unit T Centurion Park Southampton.

The proposed scheme comprises of a new industrial unit with internal mezzanine and external service yard with parking along with associated services and a new substation. The current design is at RIBA stage 0/1, with the various consultant disciplines being responsibility to develop the design to tender (stage 2/3) and provide various monitoring services during the Technical design, construction and in use phases of Work (RIBA stage 4-6).

The project design services will encompass the structural and civil engineering design and detailing for the new warehouse (with mezzanine floor), plus associated underground drainage and external hard-standings.

Scope of works is as follows:-

To develop the current proposal, in conjunction with the design team to enable a planning submission to be made

Review current information and advise if any further site investigations are necessary

Undertake detailed design of the super and sub structure to include calculation package sufficient for Building Control approval

Produce 2D CAD or 3D Revit drawings suitable initially for tender and subsequently for construction

Appraising specialist sub-contractor drawings and proposals

Detailed design of the external hard standings and retaining walls
