Within the City of Wolverhampton there are at present one hundred and three (103) Play Areas, these are made up of fifty (50) Traditional Playgrounds, twenty three (23) Natural Play Areas, twenty five (25) Multi- Ball Games Areas (MUGA), and five (5) Skate Parks. Wolverhampton City Council seeks to appoint a single provider to carry out the Repair and Corrective Maintenance of the equipment situated in these Play areas. The scope of works will extend minor and structural repairs, refurbishment of equipment, and in some cases replacement of pieces of equipment that are beyond the point of economical repair. The number of Play Area sites may vary throughout the contract period.
