description

The Positive Steps into Work service are currently delivering both DWP's flagship 'Work Programme' under subcontract to People Plus who are one of the Prime Contractors in Lancashire and Journey to Work under subcontract to G4S. The provisions support long-term unemployed customers on a range of benefits living across the Fylde Coast to access sustainable employment. We also facilitate an internal Work Placement programme 'Chance2Shine' which also targets the long-term unemployed and young people who are NEET.

The Chance2Shine Recruitment Agency is an additional new pilot to support the conversion of Chance2Shine unpaid Work Placements to paid temporary positions, increase performance outcomes on our payment by results contract for sustainable employment and create opportunities into other markets in the future.

We want to outsource the employee contracting, payroll services, credit and debt management processes to an experienced provider who can support the development of the new pilot.
