22-187 - Friends & Family of Substance Misusers Service

The Council are seeking to develop a dedicated substance misuse Friends & Family Service in Rotherham.

The service will provide:-

1-1, peer and group support interventions

Counselling, including bereavement support for those affected by a loved one's death

The service will work independent of, but in partnership with the D&A treatment service and recovery community provision.

The Council would like to engage with organisations who have the capability and capacity to deliver such a service in Rotherham.

The Council is hosting a market engagement event via Microsoft Teams on Friday 18th November 14.00-15.00pm.

The objectives for the event are as follows:-

To provide a service overview; commissioning intentions, local unmet needs and service requirements.

To outline the timelines for the procurement of the service and to provide prospective bidders with some helpful hints and tips around Procurement, the Living Wage, Social Value and the Terms and Conditions.

Provide an opportunity to hear what you think and to inform the shape of the future service.
