THE DEMOLITION AND SITE CLEARANCE OF THE POLICE STATION AND MAGISTRATES COURT, WIDNES

Description of Work: Approximate Contract value £350,000.00 The work will comprise: The removal of asbestos containing materials (ACMs) from existing buildings and then the subsequent demolition to floor level, including grubbing up of footings and floor slabs complete. Contractors returning a PQQ will have their submissions evaluated following which a tender list of a minimum of 6 contractors based on highest PQQ scores will be invited to tender for the work. The work will be tendered as a traditional lump sum fixed price contract and the form of contract is the JCT Intermediate Building Contract 2011. There may be additional contract conditions to meet the needs of Halton Borough Council. Any details relating to this will be included in the tender documents. It is expected that the selected contractors will be invited to tender in September 2015.
