Lot1 – Contract for Electronic Payment Services

The Contracting Authority’s current contract for receipt of payments for Council tax, housing rents and temporary accommodation with smaller volumes from leasehold services and other services via a UK network of third party outlets ends on 31st May 2016

The Contracting Authority is seeking tenders in order to facilitate the acceptance of payments in cash, cheques and debit cards for council tax, housing rent, temporary accommodation, leasehold and other services across a network of branches both locally and UK wide. Payments will be driven by bar coded invoices, payment booklets and magnetic swipe cards in order to facilitate this service. Payment methods are dependent upon the requirements of the specific service type and can either be made by use of a bar code, a magnetic swipe card or a combination of both.

Lot2 – Payment Cards

The Contracting Authority’s current contract for the supply and dispatch of payment cards for Council Services ends on 10th March 2016

The Contracting Authority is seeking a service provider to supply 40,000 plastic magnetic swipe cards, plastic wallets, envelopes and card carriers to enable customers to make bill payments for a number of different services through a UK network of third party outlets. The service will include the supply, storage, branding of the local authority name and embossing / thermal printing of the appropriate service name and the unique customer information onto the card. The service to include the preparation and the dispatch of the stock as required by the Contracting Authority, in conjunction with agreed frequency of orders.

Please note that the requirement is not for pre-loaded cards and there will be no monetary value attached.
