Team Leidos intends to invite tenderers to bid against approximately 555 items. The requirement covers a variety of Hand Tools and Associated Hardware Products, including, but not limited to, items such as Abrasives, Brushes, Scalpel Blades and General Hardware Products. It will be tendered as 4 lots for a duration of up to 4 years (configured as an initial 2 year period plus 1 x 2 year option period).

Additional information: LSL has an enduring requirement for the supply of a range of tools (6500 to 9500 in number) and power tools (around 500 in number) for the MoD and intends to run several tenders with a view to awarding Framework Agreements. This is the first Tender related to this. This tender contains products used by the army, navy and air force, including but not limited to the following:

• Abrasives
• Artist Brushes
• Decorating Items - Including Brushes; Rollers ; Sprayers & Wire Brushes
• Workshop Tools including Vices
• Toolboxes and Foam Inserts
• Scalpels/Blades
• Picks; Shovels & Wrecking Bars
• Various Miscellaneous Items - Which May Include Blacksmiths Items

This tender is broken down into 4 Lots;

1. Supply of Abrasive Materials
2. Supply of Brushes
3. The Supply of Scalpel Blades

4.The Supply of General & Miscellaneous Hardware Products

The estimated value of the four combined Lots is between £6.4M-£12.8M.

Leidos reserve the right to: (i) add additional inscope items to the Schedule of Requirement (SoR) during the life of the contract (any such items will fall withinthe scope of the Common Procurement Vocabulary Codes (CPV) Codes listed in the OJEU Contract Notice)and/or (ii) to manage the range of items supplied under the Agreement (for instance, by de-listing slow movingor obsolescent items and/or adding new/replacement in-scope items).
