The study will-
| - | Aim to identify a suitable indicator that relates to how eelgrass (Zostera marina) health in the Southern estuaries is affected by water quality-nutrients. |
| - | Aim to acquire indicators of the health of seagrass that are of a suitable resolution to allow some key attributes to be assessed according to common standard monitoring guidance for seagrass |
The primary objective of the contract is to design, implement and report on a sampling strategy that will aim to identify an appropriate indicator of how water quality-nutrients is impacting the health of seagrass. In doing so the successful contractor will collect data and report on surveys to inform the condition monitoring of relevant designated sites.
