description

This notice is to inform the supply chain that Sellafield Ltd is seeking emerging technologies and approaches to securely fix alpha-contaminated particles in place on ageing gloveboxes, thereby reducing the airborne radiological risk to operators. Fixative solutions for alpha particles will be a key enabler in the decommissioning process for ageing gloveboxes, ensuring Sellafield Ltd's alpha remediation strategy can be achieved.

We would encourage any organisation which has the capability, knowledge and experience in fixative solutions for alpha containment to respond to this notice and visit the Game Changers website for further information on this Game Changers challenge.
