PQ0233 - European Social Fund Progression Pathways for Adults World of Work Project: Engineering & Manufacturing Sector Training

Birmingham City Council requires a supplier for the provision of Engineering and Manufacturing Sector Training to support the delivery of WoW project objectives. This contract requires the delivery of a flexible package of training focused on developing engineering and manufacturing skills to support unemployed WoW participants into employment within the sector.

Overarching WoW project principles:

• oLearning and training that is directly linked to employment opportunities
• oOutreach and engagement with the project's priority groups
• oTargeted provision tailored to meet the needs of growth sectors
• oHolistic approach to meet individuals' needs through the WoW Employment Engagement Officers
• oEmployer involvement at pre-employment stage
• oPartnership coordination
• oPeer support and industry role models

This contract will be for a period of 9 months commencing 01 12 2019 until 31 09 2020, subject to compliance and satisfactory performance.
