description

Public Health England (PHE) requires the provision of whole genome DNA sequencing (WGS) services for the detection of point mutations in tissue samples. Due to the nature of the work, any proposed solution must be able to fulfil the following requirements:

  • The service must include the receipt of sample(s) from PHE, WGS library preparation and sequencing, and delivery of data back to PHE.
  • The WGS system must be able to detect single mutations in genes that are usually mutated in acute myeloid leukaemia.
  • The maximum sample turnaround time must be no longer than 20 days.

If you feel that you can meet the above requirements, please email kallie.rivers@phe.gov.uk. The closing date and time for any queries is 22nd April 2020 at 12:00pm.
