QU155 - Homelessness Reduction Act (2017) - Duty to Refer IT Solution - AWARD

Birmingham City Council is seeking potential providers of a suitable software solution for the Housing Options service to meet the referral duty:

• oTo provide a web based portal for Public Authorities to access when making a referral
• oTo record and store data which is entered by practitioners
• oTo direct referrals to a specific Local Authorities (using the solution) based on destination requested within the referral
• oTo apply question logic within the referral process to identify information specific to different agencies making referrals
• oTo provide a dashboard facility for local authorities using the system to track and report on referrals received
• oTo provide a facility for local authorities to action, accept, decline, return & progress referrals.
• oTo record and store the outcome of referrals
• oTo provide and store feedback to referrers through template letters
• oTo provide a platform to develop new types of referral
• oTo make outgoing referrals to public authorities
• oTo records and store details of outgoing referrals to public authorities
