Southend Borough Council requires a suitably qualified contractor to install either a 498Kw or 996Kw Biomass pellet boiler to serve the Beecroft Gallery and Central Museum via a mini district heating system which will be incorporated within this project.

The works will include:

1.	The supply and installation of a pellet fueled biomass boiler housed within two hi-cube steel containers. The lower container will house the boiler plant and the Pellet store will be stacked on top.
2.	Two options will be priced:

a.	A 498Kw biomass system housed within the bottom container
b.	A 996Kw biomass system housed within the bottom container

Comprehensive drawings and a specification will be issued to contractors who express an interest and the works will be carried out under a JCT Contract. The tenders will be considered against an evaluation ratio of 60% for price and 40% for quality.

Please submit your request to tender no later than 12 noon on 9th May 2016. We anticipate the tenders will be sent out on 10th May 2016 with a return date of 7th June 2016. If you do not receive the tender documents by the anticipated tender date please contact us.

The proposed commencement date of this project is 20th June 2016 will be completed within 12 weeks.
